If there was ever a time to help out with whatever you can, this is it.This would be a perfect time for the government to buy a bunch of Mini-Micro homes (http://www.inhabitat.com/entry_383.php). At least people would have some shelter from the elements. I am sure these will be too small for some people (esp. with families), but hey at least its something until they can find something more permanent. My prayers go out to those in the Gulf states!
