SEMI-PERMANENT

You might still be relaxing from the three-day weekend, but now that Labor Day has come and gone, its time to get back into first gear and prepare for the busy events of the fall. There’s back-to-school, NY Fashion Week, and most importantly, the Semi-Permanent Design Event is almost upon us.
This coming weekend, design?aficionados from all over the country will flock to New York’s Lincoln center to attend discussions and see design-celebs like Joshua Davis and Chuck Anderson speak. Although the event seems to be focused around graphic and interactive design, there are a couple spatially oriented speakers on the bill. I am particularly excited to see avant-garde architects Diller Scofido + Renfro (of The Blur Building and High Line fame).
