ANEMONE TABLE

by Jill Fehrenbacher

The use of shadow and light almost inevitably elevates the sophistication and complexity of any design. The Anemone Table, by Anna-Katriina Tilli and Mari Relander, lays hand-made lace over sandblasted glass across a basic powder-coated metal table. The result is a beautiful lace pattern cast onto the floor beneath. The otherwise ordinary surface takes on a dynamic presence which you can change with the angle and color of your lighting.

$1999 from GNR8

We also really like the Anemone lamp, available from GNR8 for $1799

wow, love this table. I am a bit obsessed with trees as a design inspiration and this reminds me of sitting under a canopy of trees on a sunny day with bits of light filtering down. great concept!!
