AROMATHERAPY ALARM CLOCK

by Sarah Rich

A stroke of genius led designers at AbioGenesis to create an alarm clock that can produce any number of different scents, activated through an essential oil diffuser that operates on a timer in your clock. With two compartments and heating devices, you have the option for double-duty aromatherapy action - eucalyptus or citrus can wake you up; and lavender or peppermint can lull you off to sleep. And the minimalist wooden clock isn’t bad all by itself. We’d love it even if it didn’t have the extra sensory bonus.

This could really make you start looking forward to the sound of your alarm again (or at least the scent of it). The only problem we foresee is trying to pick the flavor of the day.

Seems to be a nice product but it could have been better if it was designed to serve for both sides. The digital and the analog clock could have been used both.

Did anyone see where you could buy one of these? I looked through the links but didn’t see anything.

Hi Molly-

I tried to find a retailer and a price for this (because I want one) - and the lack of any information anywhere makes me think this is still in development, ie “prototype phase”. I’ll be sure to keep you all posted when and if I find out more information about how to purchase one of these clocks.
