I was the first to go, however. I was flattered just to be in the finals, since I actually didn't make the dress for the competition, but for the first garment I ever made at design school. I guess since my favorites kept getting eliminated (I voted for Dusty too) I don't feel so bad getting knocked out first.While I agree about sketches vs. real garments, I actually loved the twister and thought it would have been cool if constructed. The fugly "umbrella redesign" is currently in the lead here. Besides whatever aesthetic crimes the dress proposes ( it has not even been constructed), it is completely unUSABLE. I thought the aim of the competition was to redesign an object into a new use. This design has a shelf life of about three seconds. vote for the Dusty! simple, wearable, and AN ACTUAL GARMENT help!
