I have land available near Buttonwillow, CA (Southern CA), Grants, NM (US Continental Divide) and Sunsite, AZ 60 miles north of Bizbee, AZ). Please advise, as I love the design and would welcome an opportunity to own one.

Please advise if co-op opportunities exist to construct a model home. The projects shown were undeniably beautiful, and when presented, seemed like the perfect solution to all of today's housing problems. But then, as you mention, there's the cost issue. The elephant in the room. Although the designers did mention regulations and bureaucracy, i feel like they were really just expertly avoiding the issue. It would've been nice to see a cost breakdown from someone. I was also hoping for a discussion on the possibility of large-scale modern prefab residential developments and the effect such a development might have on the industry as whole. Alas, it wasn't to be today...more on this when i sober up and get a chance to clear my head! fun day, overall!
maybe i'll run into you tomorrow!

I was also at the conference today, and i first have to say that i found the prefab panel to be by far the more interesting of the day’s discussions.
