WIRED NEXTFEST: High-tech green

by Jill Fehrenbacher, 10/04/06

Wired NextFest 2006, Jill Fehrenbacher, Jacob Javits Center, New York city

Sustainable design – from photovoltaics to LEDs)- has always been as much about innovative technology as it is about treehugging, and we are glad to see our culture finally beginning to recognize this. So when Wired announced their NextFest conference in New York this year, we were all over it.

There’s nothing we are more passionate about than future-forward green technology, and NextFest didn’t disappoint. Jill and Celine had the chance to check out the conference this weekend and here’s what they saw..
