I bought 4 pieces, including the bed shown above and a media cabinet similar to the cabinet above. They’re beautiful. I ordered them on December 5, 2006 and accepted delivery on June 1, 2007. I don’t think I’d wait that long again.

You can learn more about Maria Yee at http://www.mariayee.com. All of Maria Yee’s products are finished with only water-based or low-solvent materials. Some of Maria Yee’s BambooTimbre products are colored through a carbonization process using steam heating. No peroxides are ever used. Moreover, BambooTimbre never needs synthetic polymers to protect the surface, therefore never releasing any harmful volatile compounds into our environment.

I live in Berkeley, but am willing to travel. Where can I see/purchase Maria Yee’s furniture?

Does she have a web site?

Does she use stains, lacquers that do not “off gas”?

thas great but i want to know how much they cost, so i can buy them. because theyre only eco friendly when theyre in my home not in my mind.
