ECOTOPIA!

For those of you in the New York area, this is your last chance to see the Ecotopia exhibit currently on view at the International Center For Photography in Manhattan. In a time of rampant natural disasters and urgent concerns about global environmental change, this inspiring exhibition by renown photographers such as Thomas Ruff, Doug Aikten and David Maisel, provides new perspectives on landscape, environment, and environmental problems of our day. Considering nature in the broadest sense, this exhibition reflects new perspectives on the planet that sustains, enchants, and—increasingly—frightens us.

The exhibit is only on for 5 more days - so if you haven’t seen it yet, don’t delay! Get yourself over to the ICP this weekend.

Well that first picture at least is optimistic. Moderate-sized houses with climate-clean nuclear power in the background. More of both, and less of monster-homes and fossil fuels, are at least a good starting point.
