SUSTAIN miniHOME – Tonight on HGTV!

by Sarah Rich, 01/04/07

Sustain miniHOME, Prefab Friday, Sustainable Prefab Housing, Prefab Homes, Green Prefab, Eco Prefab, Sustain Mini

The Sustain MiniHOME, one of our favorite little manufactured homes, emerged out of Toronto last year and has since made itself known far and wide. Tonight, Sustain’s prefab profile will get another boost on HGTV’s Small Space, Big Style. Designer Andy Thomson will appear on the show to give a guided tour of their process and product. We’ll have some more news soon about the progress Sustain has made in facilitating mass production of their home.

I caught the Tumbleweed House on one episode of Small Space Big Style. The creator Jay Shafer presented his 75sqft house. Didn’t impress the critics though. But they thought it was liveable if you hardly cook and entertain guests at home.

I saw this house on Small Space Big Style this morning and I think he did a wonderful job with the space. A full queen size bed and a full soaker tup and shower along with an amazing kitchen with the 6′ counter tops along with a wonderful eating area. During the tough times I would love to have one of these homes.
