Today, five months later importers are still struggling with the impact, costs and challenges of Importer Security Filing (ISF) compliance. The one year grace period for implementation is nearing its deadline. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is scheduled to begin penalty enforcement against non-compliant organizations in seven months. For those companies who are studying the costs and challenges of implementing Importer Security Filing ISF compliance, Logistics Wisdom offers the following guidance.
First, the new Importer Security Filing ISF regulations apply to United States ocean imports only. Do a study of your last twelve months ocean import activity. Determine how many ocean bills of lading (B/Ls) you had.Second, ask both your custom broker and logistics provider about their ISF procedures. Gather as much information as you can.

ISF 10+2 Interim Final Rule went into effect January 23, 2009.

To live in an economically stessed part of the world is difficult to say the least. Then to make ART from what others have discarded is highly admirable. We need more people like her in this challinging life.Would love to see more and to be able to read her SITE in English.Thank you for sharingSincerely

That said... I do not see these jewelry designs as such, while other jewelry does indeed meet this criteria.I think this designer could have done much better. These designs will show sweat stains over time and discolor due to dust, grime and who knows what else. If someone who has a cold or flu sneezes on them they'll also provide a fertile breeding ground for those germs as well. This designer is creative. She has talent. I'm sure we will see much better from her in the future.

ART is often all about Alchemy… or the taking of objects of little value (ie: Picasso’s paint supplies) and turning them into objects of extreme value. I love the both idea and the end result. Too bad that her site is only in Spanish, although it is really too bad that I've lost so much of my Spanish as to be unable to read it.

These pieces are really lovely.
