SUSTAINABLE STYLE: This Old Thing? Menswear

This Old Thing? breathes new life into old garments, creating a new aesthetic with a reverence for the past. Roy Caires, a formally trained fashion designer, and Tommy Cole, an experienced fashion photographer and thrift shop fanatic, joined forces to restructure fashion finds with attention to construction and a touch of wit. Their creations are a response to a community they felt was saturated with silk screened t-shirts and pop star trends.

This Old Thing? can be found at these shops and at Alter, their own store which was recently highlighted as Shop of the Week by PAPER magazine.

This is excellent! Green could also mean fashion forward. Hope and wish that the market would pick up more on the trend
