For all you graphically-minded designers out there, here’s your chance to shine: DesignBoom recently announced its latest design competition, Love Your Earth, which asks graphic designers to create a graphic artwork to raise awareness on global issues affecting the planet. The deadline is September 8, 2007, three winners will be awarded cash prizes, and a shortlist of honorable mentions will be featured at 100% Design Tokyo this fall. Check out DesignBoom for all the details and put those graphic design caps on!

“As each day goes by the problems facing the earth become more and more apparent, its quite clear that many things must change and sooner rather than later. Throughout history graphic design has proved itself as one of the best means to instigate a change in society and communicate the urgency of action. We are looking for graphic artworks that will raise awareness of the environmental issues affecting our delicate planet. Your graphic design should provoke a positive change in the many things that are compromising our biosphere.”

Love the concept of this competition, plenty of designers in the Lost At E Minor community will go for this!
