Just finished working on a platinum Leed certified house in San Francisco. It is amazing, check it out in the Jan. issue of Sunset magazine.

Would you mind not saying “gets LEED platinum” until the rating is actually awarded? This building is *expected* to get LEED platinum, but has not yet received it.

Nice design, however I am wondering what is the total cost per square foot? Can the average homeowner looking to build or buy a “LEED Certified home” actually afford it, or is by having or building a “LEED Certified home” just for the elite and or wealthy? My guess is that it will be costing a lot of “GREEN’…

The problem with that company is not in the products that they offer but it’s cost and availability .If this project is offered under the same restrictive conditions as their other designs than outside of boundaries of the city of Los Angeles what they are selling becomes irrelevant.Their talent cannot be denied but the”fly in their ointment” is their arrogance and impracticality.In another posting i have listed a plethora of beautiful and intriguing prefabs witch are equal OR SUPERIOR to what that company as to offer BUT WITHOUT THEIR BULLSHIT!!!
