INHABITAT AT DWELL ON DESIGN THIS WEEKEND!

by Emily Pilloton

Dwell on Design, Dwell, Architecture Conferences

Dwell on Design is coming to San Francisco this weekend, and we can’t wait for the star-studded line-up and great discussions on the topic: “Building Community in the Modern World”. Inhabitat’s Managing Editor Emily Pilloton will be speaking as part of the Community Forum on Sunday at 3:30pm, focusing on green and humanitarian design as community development tool, so make sure to stop by and say hello! The action starts Friday with a full-day lineup, followed by a half-day conference Saturday and the Community Forum on Sunday. See you there!

If you are an avid reader of Dwell (or Inhabitat), you are bound to love Dwell on Design: we will definitely be in the audience while John Hockenberry moderates panels and presentations by award winning architects, historians, and authors like Michael McDonough, Gwendolyn Wright, and Jennifer Roberts. If being inspired by design contemporaries is not your thing, you’ll love the Exhibition hall, bringing to life the back pages of one of our favorite magazines.

Also check out our coverage of last year’s Dwell On Design Conference here, including interviews with Jennifer Siegal and Leo Marmol.

Have you heard about another design conference in SF in 5 weeks?
Voices That Matter: Web Design
CMSWire wrote about it here: Beauty and Brains: Voices That Matter Offer it All.

“World class speakers, community building techniques, and new technology for designers (not developers). So for all of you Janes and Jacks of all trades, whose worlds are full of creative elements and the technical necessities that impact design, your voice matters.”
