British based lighting designer Ali Siahvoshi exhibited work at 100% Design this week, and is the designer behind Fabbian’s line of super-cool chandeliers made from knives and forks. Born and raised in Iran, Siahvoshi has a unique approach to contemporary lighting design. Using previous everyday objects, from table legs, coat hangers and cutlery Siahvoshi has designed a range of light fixtures that exemplify the beauty of recycling objects for new purposes.

Transforming every day objects into lighting fixtures, he gives each object a new and more entertaining lease of life. By giving old objects a new look or purpose Siahvoshi’s lights combine stylish design with a sense of humour, asking the audience to partake in its new and rekindled second life.

the design is so inovative some thing new, contemporary and the most important some thing touching,
though a new one but attractive.
it is so important to be both modern and so attractive at same time.
the only negative point is that the design and the object are of singel and limited use and can not be used in somany places.
but I liked it and would like to congragulate the designer, Ali
