well said, butch. every little bit CAN help.

it’s great that some of these lights are available at places like home depot and are easily accessible to the general public. true that christmas has become over done and consumer driven. but again, most people are going to be decorating with lights regardless, so why not help cut costs a little and use these led lights?

Christopher P., since people are going to buy christmas lights anyway, don’t you think they should be a lot less wasteful than the old style lights? I agree that since xians hijacked the Winter Solstice it has become a greed-fueled spending contest, but give some credit to people who are trying to reduce wastefulness as much as they can. Every little bit does help.
