This Vodka is excellent. It’s ALMOST as good as Grey Goose for less money. And- they’ve been running a promo mail-in rebate that gives you $10 back on your purchase. So you can get it for ~$10 a bottle (for Vodka that tastes like it is $25-$30 a bottle). Astringent?? Not at all. It’s phenominal in Martinis or on the rocks.

I just picked up a bottle of this. Kind of an old fashioned bottle which I like. It came with a self addressed pouch to send back the stopper. I think its a nice attempt, whether its organic or not completely I don’t really give a damn.

I just tried a shot warm after I opened the bottle. Not bad. Definitely will be better chilled. I would not chance the same with another McCormick brand though ;)

@Greentalk – Yup, it seems that Square One vodka is the real deal when it comes to eco-friendly vodkas. Their production methods certainly seem to be superior. Taken from the 3Luxe review (it made their top three vodkas overall, competing against regular and “green” vodkas alike):

“Eco-savvy bon vivants and cocktail purists alike will love Square One, the world’s first organic vodka. In an unfrosted, clear glass bottle (frosted glass coatings use many toxic chemicals) with a paper label made from bamboo, Square One vodka is made with 100% certified organic North Dakota rye and spring water from the Teton Mountains. Good points all, which we try to address in the article here…. Yes, the actual 360 Vodka is NOT organic, and there are other brands of ‘Eco-vodka’ already out there (Purus comes to mind) which ARE organic from ingredients and distilling, to production and packaging. So personally, I think this claim that 360 is the worlds first organic vodka is a load of greenwashing #@*&. But I’ll leave it to readers to draw their own conclusions. Would love to see more of a discussion here.

…I’d also like to add that I have tasted this vodka, and – well – it’s very astringent. Rubbing alcohol comes to mind. I’m hoping it will make good limoncello.

Check out Square One which is the real green deal. I interviewed the company and all of their ingredients are organic and produced here in Armerica. In addition, the company’s business practices are as sustainable as their product. The product is priced competitively to other nonorganic products.

What about taste you might ask? The product received very good reviews . I can’t personally speak to this because I don’t drink.

They only thing that they do not do is produce their vodka in reycled glass bottles but due to the design encourages their users to reuse them as vases. Check out this product. I was really impressed with this company as well as the woman behind the company.

This is rubbish. Where do i start!? First and probably most important, the print advertising this company is doing for 360 vodka is obnoxious. Who cares if the puny sticker on the bottle is made from 100% PCW. They whore themselves out to every beverage / food magazine (in the last year) i have read. No just a small “paper saving” add, but the full center, 2 page special cardstock paper add that eats more paper. Second, EPA regulations on water? NONE. More bullsh*t. Go ahead and google it. “Charcoal filter” in the spirits industry typically means activated carbon. How do you get charcoal? BURN SH*T! Activated also means chemically treated to enhance absorbing properties.

I work in marketing / product dev. for a distillery and i understand having that nice product. But just dont be two faced about your operation.
