I agree, Not very impressed at first… A car wrapped in Lycra? Can’t be that practical… but I was really amazed when I went to the website and watched the video. Very impressive.

Surprised you didn’t link it to interactive architectures or the seemingly never-ending effort to develop modern morphable aircraft surfaces (as opposed to early “wing warping”). There appear to be a number of similarities.
