There are many more successful case studies out there like this one but we remain too distracted by campaigns for new construction (LEED, &quot;starchitects,&quot; etc.) and in the meantime wasting all the embodied energy of what we&#039;ve already built. Over 140 million tons of waste from demolished homes goes into U.S. landfills each year.
