For over a week we have run our Back to School Contest to giveaway a fabulous solar-powered bag by Noon Solar. In the last few days, we have received over 100 funny, heartwarming, and just plain wacky submissions from you guys trying to convince us who is the most deserving of the free Noon Solar bag. We were completely floored by how many amazingly thoughtful and creative responses we got, and have had a really hard time picking a winner out of so many compelling submissions. But we only have one Noon Solar bag to giveaway, so without further ado, the winner is….

I require one of these bags for my epic and noble venture to save the polar bears. After years of intensive and exhaustive research I have ascertained that sans ipod and laptops, polar bears are bound to continue depleting in numbers. I have come to this conclusion by observing successful human weight gain patterns. With increased technological access, I have found that the observed humans experienced a significant increase in burrito consumption (and in one surprising instance, an increased affinity for seal blood). Given the apparent weight loss among numerous polar bears recently, I can only conclude that they must have resorted to more active social lifestyles, which likely include excessive dancing, vegetarianism and maybe trying to fit into that one pair of skinny jeans that everybody complimented at that one party. Should these kinds of sedentary activities be introduced into the polar bear environment, I feel that we will see the bears return to a healthy/terrifying size.
Naturally, power will be required for this venture.

I want to win the bag so I can begin to act green instead of just thinking I’m green.
