isPermaLink="false">http://www.inhabitat.com/2008/10/08/green-home-101-meet-the-experts/#comment-106472</guid> <description>i like what this mr john p fella has to say about future economies and corporations... i think the current state of world affairs and economies is a good indicator that the structures and philosophies on life/business are not sustainable... i feel like a lot of smoke and mirrors, and greed has lead to a house of cards.  my opinion is that to move into a positive/hopeful cycle for the future is dependent on a deep rooting...  a societal self reflection of priorities and essential needs for a fulfilling happy life. a holistic approach to sustainable life... a union of all facets... individual/home/family life,  the culture of business and corporations, and broad worldwide vision that allows walls, borders, governments and armies to turn into avenues of humanitarian communication and peace inspiring organizations.  those whom are skeptical or pessimistic... claiming that those of use who believe that peace is possible are naive hippies dreaming of a Utopian world... need only to look inside and ask themselves if they have a choice... do they choose peace or violence... and i feel that a vast majority choose peace and health.  i feel that most are inherently good... and only need to be educated with positive options to complex situations.  people whom are doubtful of a Utopian shangri-la of the future... only need to be present and realize the utopia is now... in this exact moment.  every moment is present to this split milli-second... and all have every single eternally present moment to make choices and base their actions one a peaceful and do-no-harm attitude.  if it harms someone or something somewhere in the world... don\\\&#039;t do it... pretty simple. as mr p says below... natural systems are a good reflection for us to study.  joining science, law, spirit and business into the natural flow the universe has mapped out for us.  just as early explorers looked to the stars for their guidance in navigation... our current innovators and leaders can look to our mountains, lakes, rivers, oceans, suns, moons, stars, seashells, and native american tribes as systems of study for a sustainable today and tomorrow.  what kind of world do you hope to create for your children... and their children? what choices or actions do you make/do in your daily life that leads towards this future?
