It seems like replacing your dishwasher may not always be the greenest option because of the energy it takes to make a new one and the landfill space your old one would take up. I just ordered a dishwasher cover from http://www.applianceart.com for my old dishwasher that runs fine but is ugly as all get out. It doesn’t make my dishwasher work better, but it seems like a better alternative to throwing out an appliance that still works fine but just needs an aesthetic face lift.
