These are ace. I’m a freelance designer based in Manchester but work a lot around Shoreditch and always wondered what they were for.

Would be great if they tried it in Manchester I could do with some cheap studio space.

this is awesome. i love how the cars themselves advertise the art going on inside. and so glad that these artists are able to get an affordable workspace. gorgeous!

Hope this comes to Lisbon as they said, there are tons of good spaces to put those old subway and train vehicles to good use. It’s a nice concept to apply worldwide. Fantastic Idea!

This is a really awesome use of space… if only we could get art going in a less environmentally destructive direction too, as far as supplies go. I don’t really think the inside of the train looks sparse either, I would love to live in that!!! Just add a composting tiolet & a hot plate…
