Every manufacturer that wants to play though will, of course, have to meet Better Place's standards. Hopefully this is in fact how it happens, because it will encourage competition and cost reductions for the consumer. Can you imagine if the Big 3 in the US were even HINTING at going this way? Would we feel a bit better about their pleas for a bailout?
