Were there really no notable trends or was it just not considered? Redefine Transportation.

Disappointingly, this blog lacks any mention of public transit. Ridership in Europe is going through the roof. China is planning on building 20,000 km. California voters approved $10 billion for HSR and states across the US are now very keen on in.The electric car is so before the crash. With hard to get credit, plummeting revenues and low gas prices, development of electric cars is already slowing down. With declining wages, hard to get credit, and a poor economy, the market for them has evaporated as well. So lets just put the age of the automobile to rest and stop wasting money on roads, bridges and electric and instead invest in the transportation solutions of the future such as high-speed rail, rapid transit and cycling.More at:

These three-wheeled bicycle taxis can now be found in most major cities across the US. They offer green, fun and efficient transportation that can take the place of less green forms of transportation such as taxis, public transporation, trolleys, Duck Tours, etc.

Interesting take on the top 10 green transportation trends, however this article is missing the most important trend of the year – pedicabs.
