Project Earth Day is TONIGHT in NYC!
by Jill Fehrenbacher, 04/23/09CALLING ALL NEW YORK ECO-FASHIONISTAS!
What are you doing tonight? If your answer is not ‘Going to Project Earth Day’ – it should be. This extremely fun annual event happens every year around Earth Day and features a runway show of established eco fashion designers, as well as an awesome ‘Project Runway’ style design competition between up-and-coming student designers.
If you’re addicted to reality-show style design competitions (and who isn’t), catch the action LIVE tonight at Project Earth Day! We were on the scene at last year’s Project Earth Day and made the above video to whet your appetite for things to come tonight..
If you watch the video above, you will see that the talented young Amira Marion won first prize in the student competition last year. Watch the video to see how it all unfolded! Intrigued? You can read more about the 2008 competition, in our report on it last year >
We love our eco-fashion here at Inhabitat – almost as much as we love green building and new technology. Thats why we are super excited to see all of these disciplines coming together in the Project Earth Day event, put on by the Emerging Green Builders of the USGBC. Tickets are still available, but the event is filling up fast!
THURSDAY, April 23rd, 6-9pm at OPENHOUSE – 201 Mulberry Street
Be there or be square!
