Cobi Eco Office Chair

Our friends at SmartFurniture.com are offering eco-chair connoisseurs a chance to win one of five sustainably made free Cobi Chairs. Designed by PearsonLloyd in collaboration with Steelcase, the Cobi Chair was created in response to a problem we’ve all experienced and lamented at one time or another: sitting in one chair for a long time hurts. Focused on center of gravity rather than weight, the Cobi Chair makes self-adjustments to ensure perfect balance and posture, and it’s so effective that all you need do is find a comfortable height and let the chair do the rest. And the fact that the Cobi Chair’s entire lifecycle is sustainable means it’s easy to focus on the task at hand without worrying about your environmental impact.

SmartFurniture’s 3-minute Cobi Design Tool makes designing your own chair a snap, featuring a 3-step process that takes you from start to finish in no time.  The Cobi Chair recently won the Red Dot Award for 2009 and also brought home the Silver Award from IDEA in the category of Office & Productivity.

To win a Cobi of your own, all you need to do is tell SmartFurniture.com why you deserve it!

I deserve this chair because I have to sit for long hours making jewelry – it would be nice to be able to feel good when I finish my work…instead of feeling back pain. Also, this chair is beautiful! It would fit in well with my aesthetic and efforts to be environmentally sound
