In a tragic turn of events, the supercool House of LEGOs constructed for the James May BBC television challenge was torn, hammered and shattered into nothing more than a pile of 3.3 million LEGO bricks, along with the dreams of many a young (and old) LEGO lover. This sad news was more than disheartening, especially considering how much effort and energy it took to build a giant house out of the colorful building blocks in the first place. Such a shame they destroyed this house – the effort that went into building was immense! Heartbreaking I agree though the image here is brilliant. Incidentally if there are any serious LEGO fans more interested in building LEGO buildings than demolishing them here it might be of interest that the Manchester LEGOLAND Discovery Centre (opening March 2010) is holding OPEN auditions for the job of master LEGO model builder on Friday 27th November, at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester between 10am-5pm.
